Tulasi Vikram, DDS (Dr. T)
Serving Waterbury and the surrounding communities of Middlebury, Oxford, Oakville, Watertown, Wolcott, and Prospect.
Dr. Tulasi Vikram was originally an aspiring artist with over 8 years of meticulous art lessons. The daughter of a general physician, Dr. Vikram inherited the passion for helping people from a very young age. She embraced Dentistry as a profession when she realized she could combine her artistry talent with the passion for care.
Dr. Vikram sees each tooth in every patient as unique and different. With dentistry, she can personalize her craftsmanship on each individual tooth and bring back smiles to life!
In pursuit of her career, she studied for five years to become a dentist in Bangalore, India. She then moved to the U.S., where she graduated from New York University with a doctor of dental surgery degree. Her postgraduate education includes additional training in endodontics, aesthetic restorations, implants as well as short-term orthodontics such as Invisalign that allow her to provide her patients with a picture-perfect smile in a very short time.
Dr. Vikram continues to devote a lot of time to education on a continuous basis in pursuit of excellence. She is actively involved in the Spear Study Club where the group discuss and share strategies on addressing full mouth rehab and complex occlusion-based cosmetic cases. In addition, she is an active member of Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA) and Dental Society of Greater Waterbury (DSGW).
Dr. Vikram is very active in the community, volunteering as an oral educator, painting, and cooking for the Salvation Army, providing free dentistry through the Connecticut Mission of Mercy free dental clinic (CT MOM), and taking time to visit local schools to educate children on dental health. She also serves as a dental consultant for Lighthouse Day Care Centers. She and her husband Amit have one child, and in her spare time, she enjoys painting and music.
